A spectacular pink kunzite cocktail ring, exhibiting a large cushion cut kunzite with a soft-pink hue and expertly cut facets that glisten beautifully in the light. It weighs approx. 12 carats and is displayed securely in a pronounced four-prong mount, with two sparkling pear cut diamonds on each shoulder (approx. 0.22ct each).
Kunzite is a variety of the mineral spodumene and is named after the American gemmologist George Frederick Kunz, who discovered the stone in 1902. It’s desired for its durability and delicate, feminine pink/ lilac colouring, which is said to promote love, positivity and clarity of mind.
The piece is modelled in 18ct white gold and the four prongs curve gracefully into a double band at the back, complete with London hallmarks and the maker’s mark (JB). It looks magnificent crowned atop the finger, an eye-catching and feminine statement ring, that is sure to leave an impression.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
