This navette diamond ring is a striking antique Victorian navette cluster ring bezel set with a deep blue emerald cut sapphire at its heart (approx. 1.2ct), framed by ten glistening old mine cut diamonds and six smaller rose cuts, including one on each shoulder (approx. 0.50ct total).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The gallery on this navette diamond ring is fashioned in platinum and features milgrain edging, pierced sides and an 18ct gold back and band. It’s a gorgeous design, dating to the late 19th Century (Circa 1900) and has remained in excellent condition.
We recommend you insure this navette diamond ringfor £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
