A sweet antique Georgian Forget-me-not cluster ring from the early 19th Century, adorned with six sky-blue cabochon turquoise petals, surrounding a twinkling old mine cut diamond in the centre.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December and is considered a stone of Luck and good fortune. It was often associated with the Forget-me-not in the 19th Century due to their similar sky-blue colouring and was given as a token of enduring love and remembrance.

The piece is fashioned in 18ct gold, with exquisite floral engraving around the outside of the band and the initials “J.P.” within the band, suggesting this may have been a mourning ring worn to commemorate a loved one. There is also a round compartment at the back that would have once held a small locket, preserving a lock of hair.

This lovely Georgian cluster ring is a true symbol of eternal love. It was clearly very dear to its original owner and has been beautifully preserved across the centuries.
